Riptide Movment

Riptide Movement’s ( Dundooan Diva ) flying trial…

Dundooan Diva

Neilus O’Connell’s Riptide Movement could be a major player in this year’s classics and he certainly impressed in a trial before racing at Curraheen Park on Saturday.

A finalist in last year’s St Leger and runner-up in the Kingdom Derby at Tralee, Riptide Movement was just four spots off the Curraheen track record when clocking 17.38 in his trial. Other times over the sprint distance were: Jacks Top Gal 17.64, Inslips Scolari 17.79 and Graigues Trade 17.90. Over the 525 yard trip Droopys Bevin stopped the clock in 29.21.

By the way, mention of Riptide Movement reminds me that his Kingdom Derby conqueror Brogan Stranger has been sold and is now known as European King.
