INDO DOG, RAZLDAZL AL, MAKES HIS DEBUT AT THE CROSS

The winner was Dubliner Carol Kendellen and her chosen dog Razldazl Al will make his debut in an Unraced Stake at Harold’s Cross this evening.

As the name suggests, Al is trained by Dolores Ruth and is a member of the Makeshift/ Dundooan Diva litter.

For Carol, husband Pat and family it is quite an occasion and they will be out in force to see their first dog in action. Furthermore, as an added bonus, Carol will present the dog at the scales for the weigh-n!

Speaking yesterday, an excited Carol said she was “absolutely thrilled in advance of the dog’s debut. Dolores tells us he is doing very well and we are hoping he can make a winning debut”.

Dolores Ruth, meanwhile, reports that Al is a “lovely dog and is in great form. I would be expecting him to run really well. His preparations have gone well but with dogs in their first races you never really know how they will perform. But from what I’ve seen he is a nice early paced dog and hopefully  he traps out in the race”.

He will need to as the opposition includes John Donnelly trained Da Vinci Max which has qualified very impressively in 18.18 and 29.46 around the Cross – and he goes from the inside box. It will be no formality, that’s for sure!
