Black Magic Opal wins easy at Warnambool in an impressive 24.84

Black Magic Opal came out well, before accelerating down the centre. He then took off to go 6 in front. The Jason Thompson trained Australian Melbourne Cup winner was full of running and back to his best to win by 8 lengths an outstanding 24.48.

In November 2103 Black Magic Opal won Australia’s richest race, The Melbourne Cup at Sandown Park.

Dr.Ezechiel was quick to begin. Street Life, Mepunga Ranger, Nic Nat Nui and Jordan Allen were slow to begin. Cosmic Wise checked off Dr.Ezechiel on the first turn checking Musquin Bale and severely checking Street Life and Mepunga Ranger. Cosmic Wise checked off Jordan Allen approaching the home turn. Nic Nat Nui and Jordan Allen collided on the home turn checking Nic Nat Nui and severely checking Jordan Allen, which raced wide. Street Life and Mepunga Ranger collided entering the home straight.
